Updating the Job End Time

If a job is taking longer than expected, or less time than expected, you can update the time from the Charges screen.

 

Warning

Note that this only updates the time for scheduling purposes; it does not affect the labour charges calculated by Micronet. To update the actual time spent on the job and update the labour charges, refer to "Adding a Labour Charge", "Editing a Labour Charge" or "Deleting a Labour Charge".

To update the time a job is taking:

  1. Display the Charges screen.

Refer to "Job Charges".

  1. Select Update Time on the bottom toolbar.

 

Technical Tip

Your screen may not have the Update Time, Add and Edit buttons depending on your company settings, in which case you cannot update these details.

Micronet displays the Edit End Time screen.

 

  1. Select the End Time field to display the clock control and change the time as required.

  1. When you have set the appropriate time, select the Save button on the bottom toolbar.

 

Technical Tip

Alternatively, you can select the Back button if you want to exit without saving your changes. Select Don't Save when asked if you want to save your changes.

Micronet redisplays the Charges screen.

  1. Continue processing the job.
